Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Sabian collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data when you visit sabian.ai, contact us, or use our services. It is written to meet the requirements of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA).
1. Who is responsible for your data
Sabian Holdings Ltd and Sabian Global Inc. act as joint controllers of personal data collected through this website and our commercial relationship. You can reach us at [email protected] for any privacy request.
2. What we collect
- Information you give us — name, organisation, role, work email and any message you submit through the “Book a demo” form or by email.
- Technical information — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring pages, collected through server logs and (with your consent) cookies or similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.
- Customer data — where you are a customer, the systems you connect and the findings we return. Our access to connected systems is read-only; we do not write to, alter or move your data, and your raw data is not copied out of your environment except as required to produce and deliver a finding. See Responsible AI.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To respond to enquiries and provide a demonstration — performance of a contract / steps prior to a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to you.
- To provide, secure and improve our services — contract and legitimate interest.
- To send service and, where permitted, occasional relevant business communications — legitimate interest or your consent; you can opt out at any time.
- To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations — legal obligation.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with: service providers who process it on our behalf under contract (for example hosting, email delivery and analytics); professional advisers; and authorities where required by law. A current list of sub-processors is available on request. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
5. International transfers
We operate in the UK and the United States. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK or the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or the appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses). A copy of the relevant safeguard is available on request.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, to meet legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. Enquiry data is typically retained for up to 24 months from last contact unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of any sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
8. Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, least-privilege access, and read-only connections to customer systems. See our Security page.
9. Representatives
Where required by Article 27 of the EU GDPR, we will appoint and name an EU representative for individuals in the EEA. Contact [email protected] for current representative details.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date shows the current version; material changes will be notified on this page.
Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Sabian website and any demonstration, evaluation or service made available by Sabian (the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
1. The Services
Sabian is an intelligence layer that connects to data sources on a read-only basis, surfaces findings across those sources, and returns them to you. Sabian does not take actions on your systems; any decision or action taken on the basis of a finding is yours. Demonstrations are provided for evaluation only and may use publicly available information.
2. No advice
The Services and any output are provided for information only and are not financial, legal, tax, accounting or investment advice, and create no fiduciary relationship. See our Disclaimer. You are responsible for your own decisions.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Services only as permitted by law and our Acceptable Use Policy, and not to misuse, reverse engineer, resell or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services.
4. Intellectual property
Sabian and its licensors own all rights in the Services, the software, and the methodology behind them. You retain all rights in your own data. Findings we deliver to you may be used for your internal business purposes.
5. Confidentiality
A demonstration or evaluation, and any non-public materials we provide, are confidential and intended for the named recipient only. They create no contract, engagement, retainer, partnership, employment or offer of work unless set out in a separate signed agreement.
6. Warranties and liability
The Services are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that findings are complete or error-free; they are derived from available signals and traced to source. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sabian is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue or data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that where you are a US-based customer contracting with Sabian Global Inc., the laws of the State of Delaware apply and its courts have jurisdiction. Consumer rights that cannot be waived are unaffected.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
Disclaimer
Information only. Sabian and everything it produces — including any demonstration, finding, briefing, score, simulation or read — is provided for general information and evaluation purposes only. It is not financial, legal, tax, accounting or investment advice, is not a recommendation to take or refrain from any action, and must not be relied upon as such.
Findings are derived from available signals and are traceable to their source; they may be incomplete, delayed, or change as new information arrives. Sabian does not guarantee any outcome and does not predict the future. Simulations are model projections on stated assumptions, not statements of fact. You are solely responsible for any decision you make, and should seek independent professional advice before acting. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sabian accepts no liability for any loss arising from reliance on its output.
Any third-party names or data referenced in a demonstration are used to illustrate the system; a demonstration is independent and is not commissioned, reviewed, endorsed by, or affiliated with any company shown.
Acceptable Use Policy
When using the Services you must not:
- break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights, including privacy and intellectual-property rights;
- upload or connect data you are not authorised to provide, or that contains malware;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the Services or their underlying methodology;
- use the Services to build a competing product, or to scrape, resell or redistribute output without our written permission;
- use the output as the sole basis for a decision that legally or significantly affects an individual without appropriate human review.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of this policy. Report misuse to [email protected].
Responsible AI & Transparency
Sabian uses artificial intelligence to connect data sources, surface patterns across them, and present findings. We build it to be transparent and accountable:
- Human in the loop. Sabian surfaces findings and can simulate options; it does not take actions on your behalf. Every decision and action — “pushing the button” — remains with you. Sabian is decision-support, not automated decision-making.
- Read-only and data-minimising. Our access to connected systems is read-only. We do not alter or move your data, and your raw data stays in your environment; only the finding crosses back.
- Traceable to source. Every finding traces to the signal it came from, so it can be checked. Sabian carries the source’s meaning — it does not relabel or overstate what a source says.
- No prediction claims. Sabian surfaces the present that was not previously readable as a whole; it does not claim to predict the future. Simulations are clearly identified as model projections on stated assumptions.
- Oversight. We monitor for accuracy and bias, and provide a route to question or contest a finding via [email protected].
This statement supports transparency expectations under emerging AI regulation, including the EU AI Act. It will evolve as our systems and the law develop.
Accessibility Statement
Sabian is committed to making its website usable by as many people as possible, and we aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, in line with the European Accessibility Act and applicable US accessibility law.
We are continually improving. If you have difficulty accessing any part of this site, or need information in an alternative format, please contact [email protected] and we will work with you to provide it.
